I won!

Today is only Wednesday, but it has been an exciting week for me so far.  One of my favorite blogs to visit, http://www.dreamingshabby.com/ hosted a giveway that I entered.  When I arrived home from work yesterday I went straight to my computer and checked my e-mail and discovered I had won!  I am so excited as I have NEVER won anything before.  Vanessa ( the author of dreaming shabby) has a beautiful style and her blog is full of decorating tips and inspiration.  If you also love the look of shabby chic be sure to stop by her blog and say hello!  I have a couple of days left in my work week and then on Saturday I am going with my sister to a big "junk" show called Junk Salvation.  Should be alot of fun.  I am not looking for anything in particular, however I would really like something italian florentine, like a tray or a small table maybe?  It has been a long time since I have run across anything italian florentine, seems to be harder and harder to find.  I will take pictures while at the show and will post them early next week.  I will close with a couple of pictures from around my home. Father's Day gift

I worked in the morning and then went to Costco with my sister to choose a father's day gift for my dad. We chose a really nice hammock he can use on his deck. I hope he likes it! This is a photo of my cute little Westie named Gatsby.  Looks like she is ready for bed! Have a wonderful weekend. ..
